NDIS Plan Management Is The Way The Funding In Your National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Plan Is Managed. There Are Several Kinds Of Plan Management So Making The Right Choice Is Important. Whenever You Access A Service Or A Piece Of Equipment Using Your NDIS Plan, A Financial Transaction Is Made. Every Transaction Made Using The Funds In Your Plan Has To Follow The Rules Of The NDIS And Be Tracked And Accounted For. Plan Management Is The Choice You Make About Who Is Responsible For Tracking Your Budgets And Paying Your Service Providers.
Recovery Coaches Will Provide Support To People With Psychosocial Disability To Live A Full And Contributing Life. People Will Be Assisted To Take More Control Of Their Lives And To Better Manage Complex Challenges Of Day To Day Living. Through Strong And Respectful Relationships And Skilled Coaching, People Will Be Supported To Build Capacity, Including Strengths And Resilience. Recovery Coaches Will Work Collaboratively With People, Their Families, Carers And Supports To Design, Plan, Implement And Adjust A Recovery Plan. They Will Collaborate With The Broader Service System And Will Assist With The Coordination Of NDIS And Other Supports.
To Assist Senior Australians With Living Independently In Their Own Homes, The Australian Government Has Created The Home Care Packages Program. This Program Allows Senior Australians To Receive The Care They Need, From The Services They Choose, For As Long As They Choose To, In Partnership With Care Providers. The Australian Government Will Assess Your Eligibility For A Home Care Package Through An ACAT Assessment. If You Are Deemed Eligible, You Will Be Allocated A Home Care Package Once One Is Available. You Must Then Work In Partnership With Your Chosen Provider To Choose The Services That Work For You With The Yearly Government Funds You Have Been Allocated.
Home Care Package Providers Receive A Yearly Subsidy From The Government Based On The Home Care Package Level That You Have Been Assigned, Which Is Then Used To Budget Your Care Plan. Level Needs Level Typical Visits Subsidy Level 1 Basic Care Needs Once Or Twice A Week $9,026.45 Level 2 Low Care Needs Three Or Four Times A Week $15,877.50 Level 3 Intermediate Care Needs Most Days Of The Week $34,550.90 Level 4 High Care Needs Daily $52,377.50 This Subsidy Is The Same Level For All Providers – See Home Care Package Levels Explained For More Information On The Services You Can Receive At Each Level.
Each Home Care Package Has A Different Level Of Funding To Meet Different Care Needs.
